When I was getting on my blog, I read the headlines that said a baby was put in the overhead compartment for playing peek-a-boo with daddy. The flight attendant wanted to play along? HOW can a flight attendant think this was even anywhere being funny? The flight attendant could not understand why mom got mad at the joke. Are We as a society that far gone now? I hope not. I am so glad that my son is raised now.

I wanted to touch on the topic of persevering in life today. I started a new job two months ago. I like the job for the most part.I am grateful that I have somewhere to go everyday and put my talents to good use. I have been trained for two months on how to do my job one way. We got a new manager three days ago, you guessed it, now I get(not have) to learn a new way of doing things. Did I get mad at first? Yep I did. I was resistant under my breath and cursed under my breath and got all upset. Then I sat down one morning and talking to the Lord about my (Plight) and I came to realize something. We can do the same old job if we want to, not ever raising the bar so to speak in our lives. The new boss wants to train me to do banquets and serve out the lunch for the Alzheimer’s family support group once a month. I began to feel like I was to achieve more in my job than to just cook meals and go home. The boss is a pretty nice guy. We were all afraid we were getting let go, but the boss quickly assured us we are needed. When I lost my son Levi four years ago in a car accident, this event could have been the end of my life. I can see how parents never recover from this tragedy. I chose to live life again. Even though life can be more than difficult to move forward in, God gives us the grace to keep going.Besides, if God did not have plans for my life, I would be HOME also. I tease even if I still mean the comment sometimes, ‘Them are the breaks, but Levi is Not up there getting all the good stuff. I get some of the good stuff to’.

I received a special gift from the Lord this morning. I went to pay my cable bill yesterday, one of the clerks, inquired about my book. I told her where she could get her copy. She called me later to ask me to autogaph her book. I went in today tro sign the book and another clerk wants a signed copy also. Life can be so goooood.
