Long Days

April 19, 2012 at 2:46 am (Uncategorized)

I have forgotten what day it is now. ever been there?

My boss was sick, two people left the facility where I work, leaving no one to cover shifts but each other. This does not make it easy to get a much-needed day off. By this Monday, I will have worked eleven days straight. I love my job yes I do, but I also do need to get my stuff done.

Just looking out my office window and heard thunder. We just had a down pour of rain and hail. I love these spring storms. I am warm in my office so it can rain all it wants to outside. I know at least it isn’t snow. I like the snow. At least it is a warm rain.

I have been busy with writing new stories for magazines and a our local paper for Mother’s day. Even though I am really tired, I love to write new stories for ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ ‘Reader’s Digest’ and ‘Guide Posts’. I have so many stories to share about my life as a single parent raising my young son after my husband died from his disease.
