I think Santa Cat has it right.

We all dragged ourselves to the coffee pot to gather up a shot of caffeine to get ready for today. All the gifts have been opened, for many the tree in the trash, glad St. Nick will be gone another year. What we have left are toys all over the floor, and photos to help freeze this moment in time. I am grateful for the photos I have of my son Levi.

I was blessed to have found a CD with pictures Levi and his friend had taken just three months before Levi’s tragic car accident. I have many fond memories of my christmas past. My parents hosting sledding parties and the Christmas Day meal, finding Levi sneaking a peek under the tree on Christmas morning, and I will never forget the last time I put gas in my son Levi’s new car. Christmas is over yes, but we all have some new treasured memories.
