One Of Those Days

The day started out like any other running errands.

I was ready to start my day, keys in hand, got in the car to head to the gas station. When I arrived,I was busy talking to the cashier about her day. I paid for the gas,I must have been somewhere else in my mind because I got into my car and drove off. I was half way down the street when a thought hit me. I looked at my gas gauges and remembered I was getting gas. I turned around and headed back to the gas station. The cashier laughed at my mistake and was going to fix it when she asked if  I was being generous to another driver and buying his gas. I not only had not gotten my gas, I also told the ccashier the wrong pump I was on.She was so sweet and fixed the mix-up. I was now on my way. I headed to the bank to cash my pay check. Easy right? I went in stood in line and waited my turn. I was talking to the teller and not paying any attention when she told me I short-changed myself . She gave me back the extra amount I was going to deposit (I think anyway). I decided it was time to go back home and either have another cup of coffee or go back to bed.

Everyday is different,  take the time to smell the roses in your daily walk. Time is so short to be angry and bitter. Even is these mix up days we have God gave us a beautiful day to enjoy. Summer is here, make some lasting memories with the kids because we are not promised tomorrow.
