There are so many bucket lists out there,

over the summer, I have read some of yours. Some writers were unsure what a bucket list was. I like to call your ideas as memory makers. We only have so much time here on earth, take the time each day to make someone feel important, strengthened and encouraged. Your child is young but once, your turn around ans they are starting college, getting married or moving out on their own. it is tough to let them go be independant. I don’t call the bucket list things to do before you die.

So many people have been through a tough summer this year. The many natural disasters we watched on the news holding our breaths and prayed folks would make it through. Their are so many things one can do to make life easier for another. Sometimes just encouraging someone who just found out they have a disease.

Donating to the red cross.

There is still time to fly that kite in the park.

take a nature hike with the kids.

Planting mums in the yard, dirty, happy kids bath night.

One last road trip to the great outdoors.

Taking a drive searching for the first changing leaves.

Coffee date with best girlfriends.

Monday night football parties.

Indoor camping during a rain storm.

Life is too short not to laugh, cry, touch someone’s life, bake cookies with grandma, adopt a shelter pet, and remember to just have fun. Life is only but a moment, then we are memories in loved one’s hearts. I lost my son Levi in 2007 when he died in a tragic car accident. I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories of the fine young man he had become. My fondest memory of Levi is putting gas in his new car the night before he died. We are not promised a tomorrow so make today count.

Thank you all for reading and supporting my blog.
