Another summer is coming to an end.

I don’t know about you,but I never seem to get everything I wanted to accomplish done. I have hope though. My community still has so much to offer up until October. then of course you have all the snow activities. yes, I did say the S word. I live where I can enjoy all four seasons. Idaho is an outdoor lovers paradise. with so many lakes and hiking, biking the trails, outdoor concerts, local farmers markets Art shows in the park, and plenty of wild life to enjoy.

I love watching the kids and parents interact while back-to-school shopping and buying school supplies. The malls are packed, kids screaming(little ones) hair cutting salons making the yearly up-to-date cuts for the kiddos. We have so many hip shops and cutting edge styles to keep everyone happy. I notice the dress of the 1970’s are Baaack. In my fading memory it is nice to some of the styles we used to wear and thought we looked hip back then. They say save the clothes they will come back into style, yes they will, and I am happy to announce I still fit into the earrings I wore in high School.

When I was going to school(dinosaurs ruled) school supplied were supplied by the schools. When I entered High School, I had to have a trapper keeper and a locker. I was one person who memorized her locker number and did not make countless trips to the office to have it given to me(of couse, you one ould have written the combination down, but then we would not be late for class then,) So many great meories being brought back to me. I had a good four years at Moorpark High. I lived on a ranch,so I did dress probably like a tom boy. I usually had 15 minutes to feed my animals and get to the bus stop a mile away so I did not wear dresses everyday. After school I jumped on my hoirse and headed into the orchard behind my house to unwind from the day. Those truly were the days.
