Our New President.

I found this cartoon so fitting for this morning.

Many are in shock. Anger will soon be put aside and let Trump prove himself; He promised to bring more jobs here in America,to build a wall to protect our borders, affordable healthcare, affordable daycare. Pray for our new President, as he has an uphill battle ahead of him.

We as Americans can come together and make our communities safer, knowing or neighbors and making sure no one goes hungry tonight. It is football season, invite a family over to watch the game and share a meal. take the time to get to know your new neighbor. so many times we get so busy in our daily lives, we do not have the time to say hello in the morning. Maybe the retired couple could help you out by picking up your child after the big game and plus the child will have a little cheering section. Older folks are always looking for ways to still feel useful.

I have been watching DIY Network and I am impressed how many shows focus on Cities like Detroit,Waco , South Carolina, and Nashville just to name a few. Some of the homes that needed torn down are now being restored and sold to families at a lower cost. I think it great how communities are thinking outside the box and coming up with ideas to save old and neglected homes as well as Historic neighborhoods. Watching these shows has inspired many homeowners to take pride in their own homes. Sometimes all you need is a fresh coat of paint on the door and maybe a stone planter while others need flipped.

America is a great nation and we will come out of our mourning and work together to do our part to keep it great.
